DVD Synopsis and information:
Two very ordinary people with extraordinary love for each other. They are student and teacher and are also Stanley and Iris. Two magnificent stars and Oscar winners Jane Fonda and Robert De Niro really give solid performances on screen in this sweet and noble romance. From the makes of Norma Rae. Stanley is a shy, uneducated cook who has never taken a chance at romance. Iris is a recently widowed factory worker who has vowed to never fall in love again. As this unlikely their pair's friendship grows while Iris helps Stanley learn to how to read, his stable and sweet kindness helps mend Iris' saddened heart. Where there was once two strangers that were alone and lonely now stands the chance of a wonderful love and romance story for the ages.
